Millbrook Finishes 4th at Sonny Inskip Invitational

The morning started late due to technical difficulties and the difficulties didn’t end there for the Wildcats.  The 16-team tournament proved challenging for the Wildcat wrestlers as they fought hard throughout the day to finish 4th place in the team standings.

Led by finalist Crayton Saby (106 lbs) and semi-finalist Dillon Dawkins (182 lbs), Millbrook solidified their top-5 place in the team points with many wrestlers battling back in the consolation bracket for valuable team points.

Five Millbrook wrestlers ended up as place winners:

• 106 lbs: Crayton Saby (2nd place)
• 138 lbs: Daniel Powell (3rd place)
• 145 lbs: Alexander Janni (4th place)
• 152 lbs: Peter Neuenschwander (3rd place)
• 285 lbs: Donovan Dawkins (3rd place)

The Wildcats will not wrestle this holiday week as they prepare for the WRAL Invitational next weekend at Athens Drive High School.
