Campbell Tufts-Piercy was invited to NC United’s Tournament of Champions (TOC) this past weekend. TOC was an invitation only all-star type of event for the best wrestlers in North Carolina. Held in Apex and visited by many influential members of the wrestling community including wrestling media The NCMAT and various colleges, this tournament was the talk of the preseason with its 8-man brackets filled with All-Americans, State Champions, and State Placers. Campbell participated in the 165 lb. bracket, entering as the #2 seed. After winning by tech fall (21-6) and major decision (16-3) in the quarter and semi finals, respectively, he dropped a tough fought finals match to Carson Worrick (Binghamton University commit) by a score of 7-1. Campbell represented Millbrook and his wrestling club, Capital City Wrestling Club, proudly.
